Spectacle wearers enjoy optimum viewing comfort thanks to the twist-up eyecups, which can be adjusted in 3 positions. The rubber armouring covering the entire binoculars provides a secure grip. All Pirsch ED models come with a wide, very comfortable carrying strap and a high-quality case.ED glass
These binoculars feature high-performance ED glass, which makes colours appear even more vivid and images more colour-accurate. Special high-performance ED glass prevents colour fringing.
Phase coating on the prisms
Thanks to the latest phase coating, you see images with higher contrast and resolution than without this special coating. For example, you can make out feathers or fur textures on animals more clearly. This is particularly beneficial in poor light.
Dielectric coating on the prisms:
A dielectric coating is particularly valuable at dusk or in poor weather. It allows more light to pass through the prism. The result is a brighter, clearer image, giving you valuable extra minutes to observe your subject in challenging light conditions.
Argon protection gas
Argon is not absorbed by water and does not react with it. This high-performance gas also retains its protective properties across a wider temperature range than nitrogen. These argon-filled binoculars are therefore suitable for more extreme conditions and have a longer service life. The gas prevents the lenses from misting up on the inside.
