The GLOCK G45 Gen5 is a crossover pistol and combines a compact slide with a large frame. It offers all the advantages of a Gen5 model. Like the G19X, the G45 was also developed to meet the needs of law enforcement and military customers. Unlike the G19X, the G45 features a flared magazine well and appeals to both civilian and law enforcement customers. The barrel has the proven high-quality GLOCK Hard-Surface nDLC finish in matte black. The front serrations provide the operator with additional grip even with wet or sweaty hands. The flared magazine well facilitates fast reloading in critical situations. Other features include the smoother trigger, improved texture for secure handling, a reversible magazine catch, an ambidextrous slide stop lever, the Modular Beavertail Backstrap System (MBS) for individual adjustability, and the accurate, reliable GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB). In the MOS version, this model comes with 4 numbered GLOCK MOS adapter plates. The MOS (Modular Optic System) allows for easy mounting of popular optical sights.
